Happy Birthday goes out to our sweet niece Elizabeth who is 16 years old today.
For today’s post Cammie used the Witches Brew DSP #132185 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog to create a super fun and dark journal for her brother. The cover DSP was perfect for the journal and besides embossing the initials on the cover there was nothing more to do.
Inside the cover Cammie used the First Edition DSP and then made a pocket and decorated it with the Toil and Trouble stampset #131727. The back cover was covered with the another piece of DSP from the Witches Brew DSP collection.
What a quick and fun way to transform a simple composition journal into a fun piece!
For today’s post I mixed old with new to create a fun Halloween card. The background paper is 2 different designs from the Witches Brew DSP #132185 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. I used the summer star fruit double stitched satin ribbon to hide the seam. I stamped 3 images from my favorite Stampin Up Halloween set – jolly bingo bits (sorry it is now longer available) and then punched them out using the 1″ square punch #118309 and mounted them on black postage stamp squares #122344.
I love the non traditional Halloween colors in this card and the fact that it made up quickly.
