I recently had 3 weddings in 1 month and this is one of the cards I made featuring the heart cutout from the Stitched Be Mine Dies #148527 from Stampin Up. The background paper is from the retired All My Love DSP paper collection. The sentiment is from the retired Word Play stamp set but is my all time favorite wedding sentiment.

2013 and early in 2014 I have had several friends and co-workers retire. I am so happy for all of them but sad for me that I will not see their smiling faces in the office any more. I made today’s card using the Stampin Up I Am Me DSP. When the Stampin Up annual catalog came out last summer, I knew immediately that I had to have the I Am me DSP. I made a suitcase using Basic Gray Cardstock and added the appropriate sentiment from the now retired Word Play stampset. Just for fun, I added identification tags using the now retired key tag punch.
Good Luck now retired friends and let’s try and stay in touch.
Today’s post is a super easy card for the man in your life be it your husband, boyfriend, father, brother, uncle, grandpa or even your lover! Cammie wanted to show case the beauty of the Epic Day This and That DSP #130814 available now in the all new Stampin Up annual catalog. She stamped the you mean the world to me directly on the DSP and then popped the globe to create this fun card any man would love.
Reminder, today is the last day to take advantage of the Stampin Up MDS 25% off sale on select downloads and most printed products.
My family is so excited for the start of the summer Olympics so I decided to make a quick card to send to some family and friends that share my love for the Olympics. The card is simple but fun. I challenge anyone to use the Olympic Colors to make a card and share it on my blog.
Bring on the opening ceremony GO Team USA!
Todays card focuses on the frame from the Elementary Elegance stamp set #125122 that is free with a $50 order during Stampin Up’s sale- a- bration. This card uses the elementary fact that black and white are elegant and this card shows that fact in deed. The DSP is from the Neturals paper stack #117157 and then uses the decorative label punch cut in half from the silver glimmer paper #124005. The pennant is created from a whisper white base and then a basic black pennant textured using the square lattice texture folder #119976. The frame is embossed on black using silver embossing powder #109131. The sentiment from the Word play stamp set #120651 is embossed in silve on white and layered perfectly inside the black frame that is cut out and popped for dimension. To complete the elegant look Cammie finished the card with various sizes of Basic Rhinestone bling #119246.
Thanksgiving is over and the calendar has turned to December so I can officially start getting in the Christmas spirit. I am super excited for today’s post because it is my favorite Christmas card that I have made so far this season and was the favorite at my recent all that glitters workshop. I love the simplicity of this card and the the yummy Stampin Up glitter cardstock available in the holiday mini catalog. This glitter paper is available in both red #121790 and silver #124005 and is not like any other glitter paper I have ever used. Treat yourself to some today because it will not be available after January 3, 2012. You will be glad your did.
Enough about the glitter paper, today’s card features 2 large candy canes cut from the Stampin Up Stocking Accents #124099 Originals Big Shot die and tied with organdy ribbon and then mounted on whisper white cardstock with dimensional dots to give it an extra “pop”. The sentiment is from the Word play stamp set #120651 and stamped in garden green ink. The corners of the whisper white cardstock are wrapped with real red satin ribbon #117286 before layering on real red and garden green cardstock.
