Today’s post is another pairing of the Feeling Sentimental free stampset from the Stampin Up Sale-abration and the World Spectacular DSP. The layout is simple but makes a great masculine birthday card. Stampin Up makes it simple when using their products. Everything coordinates together and takes the guess work out of the equation.

Welcome back to Cammie. Hopefully she has rested up and is ready to get back to stamping. Today’s card is one that Cammie made using the Feeling Sentimental stamp set that Cammie earned during Sale-a-bration. Cammie paired the ferris wheel with the World Spectacular DSP #126897. If you look closely, Cammie colored each seat of the ferris wheel to coordinate with the DSP. The cherry cobbler and daffodil seam binding provide a nice accent to finish this card.
My son shares his birthday with our next door neighbor, Fred. Chris is 17 and Fred is in his 70’s but Chris has always thought it was cool to share a birthday with someone he knows. I still can’t believe I have a 17 year old–Yikes that just means I am getting older but closer to retirement.
Their birthdays are January 5th and I posted my sons card there. Today’s card is the card we gave to Fred and uses the World Spectacular DSP #126897 and the Blue Ribbon Stamp set #125981 from the World Spectaular product suite in the Stampin Up Annual Catalog. It is wonderful how all the Stampin Up products work together to create a great card.
Today’s post is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) card that Cammie made to supply her card shop with a birthday card. The original card was from the Stampin Success magazine that Stampin Up demonstrators receive monthly to inspire them to use current product. Stampin Success is a free perk for all demonstrators. This card shows how wonderful the Stampin Up products work together. The DSP is called World Spectacular #126897 and is a circus themed paper. The Stamped image is from the You’re Amazing #126722 stamp set. Cammie even stamped the hat and popped it on the elephant to add dimension. The stamped image is punched out with a Circle punch and placed on a Midnight Muse Floral Frames Framelit piece. The happy birthday banner is stamped from the Itty Bitty Banners #126257 and coordinating Bitty Framelits #129267 and the ribbon is the cherry cobbler Scallop Dots #124138 to complete the World Spectacular look!
I made this card for my amazing friend Kim’s birthday the other day but did not want to post it until I knew she had received it. This card is done using the World Spectacular DSP#126897 from the 2012-2013 Stampin Up Annual Catalog The stamped image and the tickets are from the super cute You’re Amazing stampset #126722 The tickets are stamped and then punched out with the coordinationg ticket duo builder punch #126883 and strung on a piece of Island Indigo bakers twine #125575 and anchored with a bow. I added some bling to make it even more special.
I will be spending time with Kim and her friends at a Gigis Scrapbooking Retreat in IL this weekend and have a goal of getting all my Christmas cards done. This will be a first to have that done this early but I think I can do it since that is all I am packing in my suitcase. I can’t wait to check out Gigis retreat and will post pictures once I return
