One of my favorite places is Tucson, Arizona. Tuscon is home to the nation’s largest cacti. The giant saguaro is the universal symbol of the American west. These majestic plants, found only in a small portion of the United States, are protected by Saguaro National Park, to the east and west of the modern city of Tucson. Here you have a chance to see these enormous cacti, silhouetted by the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset.
Cammie captured the quintessential beauty of the sunsets with her artistic and master brayering skills. For the cacti she used the now retired Yee Haw Stamp set. This card is just simply stunning!
For today’s birthday post, Cammie pulled out her retired Yee Haw stamp set from Stampin Up to make this set of twin birthday cards. Every little buckaroo will be pleased to get such a fun birthday card. All the images came from the same stamp set she just made them different by switching out the colors.
I found this card in the archives that I have never posted. The card uses a lot of the images from the Stampin Up Yee_Haw stamp (that is no longer available) and it makes a quick and fun Thank You.

Yee Haw it is still birthmonth and today so dust off those boots, shine up your spurs, and figure out where you left your ten-gallon hat because with the 25-piece Yee-Haw photopolymer stamp set you can really let your cowboy (or girl) flag fly! I am featuring a card that Cammie made using the Yee-Haw photopolymer stampset #138107 and would bring out the cow girl in anyone who receives this card.

My husband and I recently went to AZ to visit his mother and her husband. Anyone who knows me knows that I love cacti-especially “cacti with arms”. Seeing these saguaro cacti in a quintessential AZ sunset was on my bucket list and when we went to Tuscon I got to see these beauties thriving complete with the AZ sunset. So my post today is the thank you that I made for my mother-in-law. My sunset was brayered and sponged using lessons that my sister Cammie taught me awhile back. I am not comfortable with brayering but I think this card turned out pretty well. I added the Saguaro cacti from the Stampin Up Yee-Haw polymer stamp set #138107 and the desert brush was added using the Wetlands #126695. Thanks for a great trip and beautiful memories and wonderful weather!
Cammie continues to get her moneys worth from the Stampin Up Yee-Haw polymer stamp set #138107. She picked a very girly color scheme and went to town using different images from the western themed Yee-Haw stamp set. To add texture she hand cut the lasso and the pick cowgirl hat and randomly added silver foil punched stars. Anyone receiving this card will definitely have a Rootin’ Tootin’ day!
I have always been in awe of the Saguaro cactus. Known for its tall, branching shape, the saguaro is a true icon of the Arizona desert. We will be vacationing in AZ soon and I can’t wait to see the “cactus with arms”. So when I received this card from Cammie I was over the moon with all it’s glory. Cammie used the direct to paper method to create the Arizona landscape and the saguaro cacti were stamped using the Stampin Up Yee-Haw #138107 stamp set.
