My final post today is an MDS “hybrid card” that I made for a “deer” (pun intended) friend. Please let me explain, I love all things Stampin Up and so does my friend Sheri so when the Stampin Up holiday catalog came out we were both scared (as was Cammie) of the Remembering Christmas stamp. taxidermy has always kinda creeped me out and I cannot figure out for the life of me why Stampin Up would introduce such a scary stamp and call it remembering Christmas.
So Cammie and I both teased Sheri that we were going to host a remembering Christmas workshop but neither of us wanted to buy this stamp set. So when the MDS download became available I knew I would purchase it and make a hybrid Christmas card for both Cammie and Sheri. Sheri got the card in the mail and knew her dreams would not be of Visions of sugar plums dancing in her head that she was afraid night mares would prevent her from falling asleep. So Sheri but I had to do it!
Well, you pulled it off beautifully! I think the holly trim, red nose, and googlie eye relieves the “scary”! Great job, Cathy! And Merry Christmas to you and your family!
